It's getting easier to picture how the main floor is going to look now that the plaster on the walls is off and the main floor is more or less open.
The upstairs is now just the studs and the roof with the insulation. Permits have cleared so a lot more happening soon.
I spent some time pulling pavers from the patio in the backyard today. I'll probably use these to make a patio area by the side of the house or the garage.
Sheetrock is gone from the upstairs. The house is starting to get stripped down to the core structure.
Sheet rock and cabinets have been pulled out and we should be starting on concrete work in the basement next week!
Long day bookended with shoveling but I am glad to say the floors are all out and the wood has been stacked flat in the garage for safe storage until its time to put it back in the house!
Got all the floor up other than the short hallway area. Tomorrow is going to be a lot of pulling nails and stacking wood.
Big day of work ahead of us as we take out the rest of this beautiful wood floor to put back into the house after the remodel.
